The Rules:

• Children must be 12 years or younger to participate.

• All entries will be judged in the following age groups: (under 6), (7-9), (10-12)

• All entries must be postmarked no later than
November 18, 2008.

• Children may use crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc. No 3D objects (i.e.: tissue paper, glitter, puffy paint, etc.) because the entries will be scanned and posted online.

• All artwork must be the authentic work of one child.

• All entries must have valid contact information.

• Winners will be notified by telephone. No response to prize notification within 5 days will forfeit prize and will be awarded to next frontrunner. Prize is not transferable.
Winners may be announced through the media.

• Judges decision is final. Entries will be judged for creativity. A drawing may be held in the event of a tie.
The winner and guests must abide by parade participation rules and restrictions.

• Submitted artwork becomes the property of Downtown Denver Events and cannot be returned.

• The 3 age group winners will each get to ride in the parade on either Friday or Saturday night along with one guardian age 18 or older.

• All entries will be posted online.

This year’s winners will ride in the Parade in a decorative horse-drawn carriage.

Children under the age of 6
Ages 7-9
Ages 10-12
1 winner will be selected from each age group
